Finance manager job, Woking, paying up to £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid Working
Your new company
You will be joining a well established multi-national group who operate across 30+ countries. Having achieved record growth figures, they are looking to expand and as such have an opportunity for a talented accountant to join the team alongside their key clients.
Your new role
Reporting into the FD and leading a small team, your role will take charge of overseeing the month-end and management accounts/reporting for the division. You'll lead the balance sheet close and work closely with budget holders to help them understand their P&L, highlighting both risks and opportunities within the numbers. In addition you'll manage the budget/forecasting and presentation of results to key external and internal stakeholders. During the year-end process, you'll also liaise with auditors and tax accountants.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful and in addition to your accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/ICAS/equivalent), you should have proven experience across all areas of finance, both financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting. In particular, you should have experience in projects and WIP. You should be comfortable partnering internally and externally with key stakeholders as well as taking a proactive hand in process improvement and streamlining. This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to develop!
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary is on offer alongside hybrid working, 25 days annual leave, private medical, pension and a number of other flexible benefits. There is plenty of scope to develop as the company continues to expand so if you are looking to progress, this could be a great next step.
