Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Maths Teacher to work within an Alternative Provision in Burnley. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Manage and deescalate challenging behaviour in the classroom.
• Support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of education and support for students

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Maths to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
• Ability to manage and deescalate challenging behaviour.
• Understanding of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
• Experience of working with children from Key Stage 2 up to Key Stage 4
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
