Claims Specialist- Insurance/Reinsurance

We are currently hiring for a Claims specialist for maternity cover to join one of our Insurance clients on a 9-month contract.

Inside IR35

Hybrid- 2 days a week onsite in the London office. Travel to the Paris and Cologne office once during the duration of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Own claims authority for local claims adjusting in both Paris and Cologne, in conjunction with the London Claims Team.
• Join meetings from other teams where input from the claims perspective is required.
• Become the Subject Matter Expert for the new Reinsurance Claims system.
• Participate in meetings with brokers and clients where needed.
• Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy,

Experience:

• Experience working in Reinsurance or Insurance, Claims or Underwriting
• Experience collaborating with the claims and operations teams.
• German and/or French language skills desirable.
• Strong user of all MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Broker engagement experience
• Property and Casualty claims experience, desirable.
