Modern Workplace Engineer (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: up to £100k base
 

Permanent role, 3 days in office in London

Salary is up to £100k base + bonus + benefits

The Company is a leading financial services firm.

The technology is being transformed to a Cloud-First, Cloud-Native architectural model, utilizing DevSecOps processes and adoption of systems-thinking concepts to enhance productivity. The Modern Workplace Engineers are responsible for delivering modern end user solutions that are fully automated through code, ensuring scalability and optimize availability and reliability 24/7.

The role

  • Design, engineer and manage M365 solutions include 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Copilots
  • Lead design, engineering and adoption of the latest Windows OS.
  • Develop, and maintain a secure, efficient and user-friendly Modern Workplace environment.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for mobile device and application management.
  • Configure and manage Azure D for identity and access management.
  • Provide deep technical guidance and support to end-user, helping them to effectively use Microsoft.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, SOPs.
  • Monitor and optimise Modern Workplace performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest M365 and Intune features, best practices, and security.
  • Collborate with cross functional team to ensure the successful adoption and utilisation of Modern Workplace technologies.
  • Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for leveraging technology to improve end-user productivity and collaboration.
  • Strong desire to create a seamless and secure Modern Workplace experience.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Keen interest in staying current with the latest M365 and Intune developments.
  • Knowledge of configuration management systems like Ansible.
  • Collaborative and able to communicate effectively and asynchronously
  • Urge for delivering quickly and iterating fast when something is broken.
  • Good communication to able to work with other teams
