Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher from September on a Full time basis to cover a Maternity leave until October Half term. The successful SEND teacher will be working in KS2 and Year 7 teaching across the curriculum so a broad curriculum understanding is essential. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism/ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

- QTS

- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, ADHD and SEMH

- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
