Senior Solar Electrician - Up to 42,000 + Ongoing Training - South London

Alecto Recruitment are proud to be working with an industry leader within the UK renewable energy sector, specialising in solar PV installations. They are currently looking to expand their team of installers to complete new installations from start to finish.

The Role:

Our client are looking for a highly motivated Senior Solar PV installer/Electrician to join the team based in Orpington, Kent. You will be responsible for installing roof-mounted solar PV panels on domestic and commercial buildings, mounting and stringing the panels and connecting to the national grid.

The role covers London and the home counties predominantly, however there may be times when staying away is necessary (expenses paid with stay away allowance).

Standard hours at 08.00 - 16.00.

Up to 42,000 Dependent on experience + Company vehicle with fuel card & ongoing training + 20 days holiday, pension, uniform, etc

Ideally you'll live within 10 miles of the office to commute for materials and toolbox talks.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 electrical certificate and 18th Edition qualifications
  • Ideally 1+ year Solar PV installation experience (but training will be given regardless)
  • ECS/CSCS card required
  • Working at heights and basic scaffold certification is ideal
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Can work successfully with a team
