We are looking for a SEN Science Teacher to join a great team at a school in Brighton. The ideal candidate would have experience working with students who have additional special needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science to students aged 11 to 16.
Your new role
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to the needs of students with SEMH, ADHD and ASD.Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to participate in class.Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure that all students receive the support they need.What you'll need to succeed Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience working with students who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.Strong knowledge of science curriculum.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staffWhat you'll get in return You will have the opportunity to work in a high-achieving school, within a strong staff team.
