Lead Cancer PharmacistLocation: Home based, with regular visits to sites and corporate offices
Employment type: Full time 37.5 hours
Reports to: Group Chief Pharmacist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated and self- directed pharmacist to support the governance of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) across the business.
Working under the direction of the Group Chief Pharmacist and with senior clinical leads the post-holder will:- Manage SACT governance processes across the business (SACT Committee, policy and practice).
- Manage the SACT training programme.
- Develop and maintain the SACT EPMA system used within the business.
- Support SACT procurement arrangements.
The post-holder will work closely with hospital based pharmacy teams to support the safe and effect use of SACT. As a member of the corporate pharmacy team, the post- holder will provide wider support to the development of medicines related policy and practice across the business.
Candidates should have experience in working as a hospital pharmacist supporting haematology/oncology services, experience in policy or guideline development and in the use of EPMA systems.
