The Opportunity:

My client working within the IT sector are currently looking to recruit for a Business Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role you will create long-term relationships with their customers.

The Business Development Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account Management Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports.

The successful Business Development Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Business Operations, Presales, Service Delivery and Project Management) to manage the customer experience.

NB: Candidates must be eligible and willing to go through BPSS security clearance

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software, delivering client-focused solutions and services to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and remaining customer-centric
