  • An industry-leading financial institution is seeking a Data Analyst to join a General Ledger System project
  • As a Data Analyst, you will be leveraging data to enhance operations and finance functions
  • Key words: Data Analysis, General Ledger, Markets and Banking

Details

  • Day rate: ~£675-£725/day (TBC ASAP) - Inside IR35
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: end date 01/10/2025 (highly likely to be extended)
  • Hybrid working - 3 days/week in the office

Key responsibilities of a Data Analyst:

  • Lead development of core data analytics capabilities
  • Mentor junior talent and drive skill development
  • Align data initiatives with organizational strategy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for executives
  • Optimize processes and methodologies for maximum impact

Required Skills and Experience for a Data Analyst:

  • 10-12+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Strong background in finance and operations, including General Ledger systems
  • Expertise in data migration and process improvement
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead complex implementations and transformation programs
  • Knowledge of Markets and Banking products
