Qualified Accountant with Portfolio Management experience required within independent firm offering £35K-£45K
Your new company
- This accountancy practice prides themselves on their client approach, they put their clients' needs first and are willing to post other duties aside for their portfolios. A close-knit team of around 20 who enjoy working collaboratively and getting the best out of their working day.
Your new role
- To prepare, send and submit accounts & tax returns for our clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
- To communicate as required with clients via phone, email, social media and in person, including chasing records.
- To onboard new clients and integrate them into your portfolio - this will include bookkeeping, compliance etc to then be handed over to the relevant department.
- To manage and review audits
- To optimise and plan the tax efficiency of clients as required.
- To complete, review and prepare bookkeeping and VAT returns where required.
- To act as liaison between clients and HM Revenue & Customs to deal with and resolve queries as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous portfolio management within accountancy practice
- Qualified to either ACA/ACCA
- Accountancy practice experience - 2 years plus
- Comfortability & willingness to work onsite with clients throughout the entire accounts process
