Senior Problem Manager (Contract)

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a Sr. Problem Manager, to join our multinational client on a long-term and remote freelance assignment.
The Senior Problem Manager holds a crucial position within the client's Service Operations department. They are tasked with supervising and improving the problem management process, collaborating with other process owners, and ensuring smooth communication and data exchange among various IT and Business stakeholders.
Their responsibilities include designing and updating Problem Management process policies, documenting workarounds and solutions, and managing problem records related to incidents and proactive measures. This involves thorough documentation to ensure a structured approach to incident resolution and prevention.
To tackle the increasing complexity of incidents, the Senior Problem Manager employs proactive and preventive problem management methodologies. They conduct structured problem investigations, manage problem records, promote documentation and knowledge sharing, collaborate with other departments to enhance processes, develop and maintain policies, implement proactive measures, create reports, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Their role also involves ensuring compliance with customer requirements specific to their area of expertise.
Sr. Problem Manager requirements:
- Good experience in Problem/Incident Management
- Preferably experience in a similar role within a large enterprise, providing IT Service Operations
- ITIL certification
- Able to work independently
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Experience in Customer Management is preferred
Sr. Problem Manager details:
- Start: April/May 2024 preferred
- Location: Fully remote (EU-based is a must, preference for Hungary-based)
- Duration: 12 months
