This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Job Responsibilities
  • Test Suite Creation The QE II will create test cases based on System Functional specifications, in coordination with the Design Responsible Engineer.
  • Test Plan Creation -- When performing Ad-Hoc resting, the Qualification Engineer will need to write steps to reproduce a defect. This information will be used to generate new test cases. The test cases will be given to other teams (Roush, Endurance DGE, etc.) to run as part of their Ad-Hoc/Stability testing.
  • Defect Management -- The Qualification Engineer will participate in Standard Defect Management practices: Defect creation, Clarification, retesting, and verification. The Qualification Engineer will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and reproducible defects from which a Design Responsible Engineer can resolve defects.

Job Requirements
As a Qualifications Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • BS in Computer Science/IT or Engineer degree required from ABET University. 3 -5 years experience is required
  • Candidates MUST have experience with Alexa or Google Home Action
  • 1 year of experience with Alexa or Google Home Action
  • Must be on the job experience!
  • Linux/QNX/Command Line and/or Telnet required
  • Test case writing Ticket/defect management experience
  • Experience with CAN is a plus
  • Connected Application experience a plus (i. e. web, head-set, cloud, navigation)
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) required
  • Demonstrated Leadership roles the ability to take initiative
  • Infotainment system experience, specifically features that communicate (connect) with the service delivery platform to accomplish the following:
    1. Updating applications over the air
    2. Subscriptions (i. e. WiFi Hotspot)
    3. Remote Operations (i. e. remote start, lock doors)
    4. Call Center interactions
    5. Location based services (i. e. Stolen Vehicle Location)
