The bank is underway in a crucial transformation program. As part of this initiative, the Banking department is moving into modern architecture and ways of working. The Trading Applications Team is looking for a Product Manager for the Bank's Trade Management System (TMS).
Perfect candidate:
An experienced Product Manager with a good understanding of the financial domain, excellent communication and collaboration skills to be able to coordinate with the team and key stakeholders. Ability to translate the vision of the business into a roadmap.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Drive the execution of all processes in the product life cycle including initiative initiation, requirements gathering, implementation, testing and production delivery.
Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business objectives.
Translate the product strategy into actionable requirements with target deliveries.
Maintains the Trade Management System's product strategy based on business demand, resilience, and team initiatives.
Serve as a main point-of-contact for business areas and other teams for changes related to the Trade Management System.
Maintain the backlog of changes required to run the Trade Management System by collaborating closely with business area leads.
Participates in quarterly banking planning to ensure team commitments are aligned with business priorities.
Distribute backlog items to resources within the Trading Applications team to ensure continuous delivery of enhancements and fixes to the business.
Facilitates ceremonies as part of agile ways of working including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Provide progress reports to stakeholders.
Must haves:
A university-level degree in information management, computer science, finance, or equivalent professional work experience in these areas. (*)
At least 5 years' experience of which at least 3 years supporting business applications as a Product Owner/Product Manager in a financial institution. (*)
Knowledge of the full software life cycle (*)
Experience working with trade management systems in a treasury and/or asset management business. (*)
Knowledge of the financial trade life cycle. (*)
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development teams. (*)
Interpersonal skills:
Communicates effectively to stakeholders, team members and management.
Ability to facilitate meetings, gather ideas of a group and distill information to report to management.
Nice to have:
Experience in OpenLink Findur/Endur is a big plus
Software engineering background is a plus
