CIO (Permanent)
Location: France Rate: Up to £180k per annum
Context:
A multinational Financial Services firm is ready to embark on an ambitious multi-year strategic transformation.
They are looking to increase business growth and improve customer experience in existing and new markets.
They need an inspiring technology leader and expert to drive this.
As CIO, you and your department (which works/services businesses across EMEA) will work as an enabler and a trusted partner for the Business and wider employee network.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of the following traits/skills, acquired through working within Financial Services.
Strategic Leadership:
- Strategic planning and execution for technology departments.
- Ability to articulate long term strategic visions or short term objectives to a wide variety of stakeholders in an engaging and inspiring way.
- Ability to develop, articulate, and execute technology strategies that align with business objectives.
- Proven track record in leading technology teams and driving innovation.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire diverse teams.
- Ability to take decisive actions and prioritise tasks effectively, demonstrating bravery in making tough decisions.
- Emotionally intelligent, inspiring and effective communication to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in managing technology projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Technology:
- In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies, including AI, cloud computing and DevOps.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Influence a digital mindset throughout the company.
- Translate complex technical concepts into language for non-technical audiences.
- The ability to align IT strategy with broader business goals.
- Ability to evaluate and implement scalable architectural designs.
- Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors and partners.
- Knowledge of "gold standard" cybersecurity postures and ability to proactively locate and rectify vulnerabilities.

- Work Experience within Commercial Financial Services Technology Innnovation.
- Theoretical understanding of Commercial Finance products, regulations and technology consensus/principles.
- Management of financials and core technology business fundamentals.
- Strategic planning and execution for a technology team.
Other:
