Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Reading

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience)

A leading company in the construction materials testing industry, are on the lookout for a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in accounting within a expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK-GAAP
• Manage accounts receivable and oversee the credit control function
• Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in the ERP system
• Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements
• Collaborate on month-end closing procedures

Experience & Skills Required:

• Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with Acumatica or NetSuite is advantageous
• Solid understanding of UK-GAAP and finance in a manufacturing context
