BI Analyst
Are you a skilled BI Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity with a global manufacturing and distribution leader? Our client, a prominent organization with a strong international presence, is seeking an experienced BI professional to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote role, with occasional visits to the office in the Luton area, offering excellent flexibility and the chance to contribute to impactful global projects.
Key Responsibilities - Analyze complex business processes and design efficient, high-performing BI solutions.
- Lead requirements gathering for new BI initiatives and enhancements to existing solutions and reports.
- Support the consolidation and harmonization of global BI reports and solutions.
- Design and develop new BI solutions tailored to core business processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and process owners to create comprehensive BI specification documentation.
- Take ownership of defined work packages, contributing to international BI projects and rollouts.
- Assist the business in creating and maintaining reports to drive insights.
- Provide Level 3 support to resolve BI-related issues.
- Coordinate testing activities for BI workstreams as part of release management and project rollouts.
- Strengthen the internal BI community by sharing knowledge and best practices.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business, or IT-related fields.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence as a key business user or BI Analyst/Consultant.
- At least 3 years of experience in BI report design and requirements specification.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud-based Power BI applications.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts, including data warehouses, data modelling, data lakes, and ETL processes.
- Solid understanding of at least two business processes: Finance, Sales, Service, Manufacturing/Production, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Customer Service.
- Proficiency in MS SQL and familiarity with ERP systems (eg, Infor M3 or SAP).
- Analytical and investigative skills, complemented by strong technical documentation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Skills - Experience with state-of-the-art data analytics solutions.
- Understanding of computer system validation and testing procedures in GxP environments.
