Lead Electronics Engineer

Permanent - Up to £60,000 (D.O.E) + benefits

iO Associates are working in partnership with a prestigious engineering business whom specialist in the design and development of abatement systems used within the semi-conductor industry. We are currently searching for a number of Lead Electronics Engineers who will be responsible for providing direction to a small team to deliver electronics platforms for new products within the Vacuum Technique business area, as well as maintaining existing designs.

Candidates with a strong core-skillet in electronics with further experience in product development would likely be well-suited for this role.

Skills required:

  • Degree-educated in Electronics

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify New Research Areas:
    • Explore novel research topics within the team or consider alternative locations within the Vacuum Technique.
  2. Best Practices and Alignment:
    • Ensure alignment with established development processes by following best practices.
  3. Leadership in Problem-Solving:
    • Take a leadership role in addressing technical issues promptly, using proven problem-solving techniques to identify root causes.
  4. Design Expertise:
    • Leverage strong design experience, including writing 8D reports when necessary.
  5. Electronics Fundamentals:
    • Apply direct knowledge of electronics design, both in analogue and high-speed digital domains.
  6. Process Improvements:
    • Recommend enhancements to product development processes

In return for your support, we are offering a basic salary of up to £60,000 (dependant on experience), plus benefits inclusive of pension, bonus, healthcare and much more!
