Maintenance Gas Engineer

Your new companyOur client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services to council properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Gas Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis.
Your new roleYour responsibilities will include both the installation and maintenance of gas systems in both residential and commercial properties, including;

Performing general gas engineering work, including fixing issues with existing gas systems.

Installing new gas systems as required.

Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of gas systems.

Responding to emergency engineering issues promptly and efficiently.

Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

What you'll need to succeedOur client is looking for a gas engineer whose background is maintenance plumbing and is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience in maintenance gas engineering in residential as well as commercial properties.Main requirements:

• Proven experience as a maintenance gas engineer
• Relevant, up-to-date gas engineering qualifications
• Valid UK Driving licence
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
