BI (Business Intelligence) Product Owner - Data Warehousing, Data Visualisation, Power Apps, DevOps, Agile - Permanent, Hybrid, up to £70,000 base + car allowance

Our client, a leading global financial services partner, is looking for an experienced BI Product Owner to join their innovative Data Team. This will be an instrumental role leading the team to provide focused backlog management and iteration planning. As a business dedicated to leveraging data to drive exceptional business outcomes, it requires a visionary leader able to see the bigger picture and work effectively with others to deliver the best colleague experience within a fast-pace and demanding environment.

You will be responsible for representing the customer voice, creating and owning a compelling product vision and providing clarity for the Development Team on the items to be worked.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and prioritise the BI Product Backlog and mapping project dependencies, clearly outlining the sequence of development whilst balancing strategic and tactical requirements.
• Working collaboratively within Agile principles. Leading daily stand-ups, sprint openings and goals and spring closure.
• Effectively manage and liaise with key stakeholders across the business (Finance, Revenue, Marketing, Risk etc)
• Lead technical members within the Data Team, overseeing performance, development and well-being. Determine the resource requirements and develop cleat user stories ensuring alignment to business benefit.
• Data modelling and visualisation.
• Manage Blockers raised by the BI DevOps team.

Knowledge and Skills
• Proven experience in Product or Project Management related roles
• Excellent understanding of methodologies associated with Agile working and Scrum Master qualified
• Knowledge of every aspect of the Product Development Life Cycle
• Experience in Product Backlog Management using DevOps and GIT or other similar systems
• Exceptional degree of organisational and communicative skills. Ability to build strong and pragmatic relationships with business SMEs,
• Experience of requirements gathering
• Demonstrable experience querying, analysing and reporting on data from multiple systems/sources
• Working knowledge of Data Modelling, Data Visualization and Report Writing
• Basic knowledge of the Power Platform and Power Apps
