Data Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Bristol Country: UK Rate: £50k - £60k per annum

Bristol (travel to client site when necessary)

Salary up to £60,000

Join a Bristol based consultancy as a Data Engineer to lead the Data Engineering aspects of the design and development of their product and platform development. This role requires someone who can work across both Azure and AWS platforms, with a strong focus on cloud-native data solutions, API development, and secure infrastructure, while also collaborating with security teams to ensure compliance.

Work Environment:

This will be a mixture of remote working and visits to client sites across the UK, likely to be within a commutable distance of Bristol. Please note that you must be open minded about travelling to client sites as and when necessary and must be eligible for SC clearance.

Responsibilities:

Specifying data pipelines for multiple sources, formats and frequencies.

ETL - Implementing and maintaining data pipelines and automation for data collection and analysis.

Responsible for the technical expertise in data engineering, infrastructure and Back End developments best practice on both client projects and the organisations platform development.

Requirements:

This role requires someone who can work across both Azure and AWS platforms, with a strong focus on cloud-native data solutions, API development, and secure infrastructure, while also collaborating with security teams to ensure compliance.

Strong expertise in both Azure and AWS.

Eligible for SC Clearance.
