Are you a passionate individual with experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
As a Student Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in providing one-to-one and small group support to students, focusing on their academic, emotional, and social development. You will be working closely with teaching staff and therapists to create personalized support plans tailored to the unique needs of each student. Your role will involve mentoring students, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting them in overcoming barriers to learning.
This role requires a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who can build strong relationships with students while helping them develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children or young people with SEND and should be able to use a range of communication strategies and assistive technologies to support students with communication challenges.
You will be working within a supportive and inclusive environment where the school s core mission is to create a nurturing space for students with SEND, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
