As a Training Manager, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing employee skills and performance within our organisation. Your responsibilities will include identifying training needs, designing relevant programs, and assessing their impact on employee performance and loyalty. You'll collaborate with various departments to ensure employees receive the necessary training to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:
Identify and Assess Training Needs:

  • Analyse job roles, career paths, and annual performance appraisals to determine training requirements.
  • Consult with line managers to understand specific training needs.

Develop Comprehensive Training Plans:

  • Create individualised training and development plans aligned with program milestones and deliverables.
  • Deploy a variety of training methods to enhance users' competence and confidence in using systems.

Stay Updated on Training Trends:

  • Monitor training program effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage training budgets efficiently.

Collaborate across Teams:

  • Work closely with technical specialists and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of training initiatives.
  • Report to the Head of Business Change and Project Support as part of the Student Systems Team.

Qualifications:

  • The ability to build detailed training approaches that align with program goals.
  • Experience in systematic problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with training tools, methodologies, and models.
  • Higher Education experience is essential
