Your new company
You will be joining a specialist contractor based in Nottingham working on concrete repair schemes for a major water company. This multi-accredited company has a strong pipeline of work in the utilities sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued growth, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be based out of their Nottingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience surveying civil engineering works utilising NEC3 and/or NEC4 forms of contracts and be able to work within set deadlines. In addition, you will be able to act on innovative and be able to prioritise workloads. Finally, you will have sound interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
