Carbon60 are currently looking for an Electrician to join a client of ours in the Nottingham area. This position is a long term contract.

This Electrician role will require you to attend clients sites around Nottingham carrying out electrical work on water sites.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Analytical survey of control equipment, both electrical and physical.
  • Isolate, dismantle and inspect pumping equipment, including moving parts and lubricants.
  • Examine and report any defects with regards to the valves and pipework.
  • Supply details, measurements, and full descriptions of any components that require replacement.
  • Install and commission supplied equipment and all associated apparatus.
  • Work as part of a team where health and safety demands.
  • Carry out both planned and reactive service visits as scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Lifting of access covers, pumping equipment and all associated components from ground level to an approximate depth of 10m using the appropriate tools supplied by the hiring company.
  • You will be working on sites varying from domestic customers through to large tier 1 contractors and municipal service providers.

Person Specifications:

  • 18th Edition
  • Water hygiene card
  • JIB.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineer or equipment.

This position offers a great hourly rate as well as over time rates, and door to door payments. You will be required to participate in an on call rota. A company vehicle can be provided after a minimum of 4 months working with the company.
