DT Teacher
Southport Secondary School is looking for a DT teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
About the roleAs a teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning, preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs and abilities of all learners.Assessing, recording and reporting on the progress and attainment of studentsProviding feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills and confidenceContributing to the development of the curriculum and departmental policiesCollaborating with other teachers and staff to share best practices and support the school's vision and ethosParticipating in professional development activities and meetingsAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will need:
A relevant degree and a qualified teacher status (QTS)Experience of teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 levelA passion for DT and a desire to inspire studentsA commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the schoolExcellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skillsA willingness to contribute to the extracurricular activities of the schoolBenefits As a teacher, you will enjoy:
