Year 4 Class Teacher required for Good Primary school in Tameside

Hays Education are recruiting for a Year 4 Class Teacher on behalf of a large primary school in Tameside. The role is due to start in January 2025 until the end of the academic year.
They were rated 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted where pupils benefit from engaging lessons. There is a strong relationship between staff and pupils and lessons are planned to be interesting and relevant.
The ideal teacher for this Year 4 Class Teacher position in Tameside will have/be;

  • Qualified Primary Teacher (UK QTS)
  • In depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • A commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning
  • Enthusiasm, energy and flexibility
  • High expectations and the ability to raise attainment and achievement.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

    • The successful teacher will have/be;
  • Paid to scale (M1 to M6) and accrue holiday pay which can be taken at any point of the year
  • The opportunity to make a significant contribution to the school
  • Working within a supportive and friendly team who are willing to share their expertise and learn from one another
  • Receive ongoing support from a primary education specialist consultant at Hays Education
