Teaching Assistant Role - Special Educational Needs B77

Location: Tamworth B77
Position: SEN teaching assistant
Contract and start date: Temporary full time and ASAP
Minimum rate of pay: GBP70 a day (pay rate depending on experience and hours)
Hours: 8:30 - 16:00
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only

We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support our students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, and physical impairments. As part of our expanding team, you will be instrumental in providing a safe and nurturing environment, where every child can thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored one-on-one and group support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and therapists to create a positive learning atmosphere.
Assist in implementing creative and engaging activities that encourage development and independence.

Candidate Requirements:
Experience working with special educational needs (Career or personal)
A passion for working within education
A positive, creative, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
