An experienced Setting Out Engineer/Site Engineer is required for a Northumberland-based project.

I am delighted to be supporting a Tier 1 contractor on the appointment of a Freelance Setting Out Engineer/Site Engineer, to join them on a contract from 14th October to December.
This role will be to support the Senior Engineer on the setting out of the site according to the design specifications. You will support the Site Manager and other members of the design team in ensuring the project is laid out according to the design plan, which will include using survey equipment, marking boundaries and working with the wider team to ensure the plans are accurate and recorded accordingly.

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Site Engineer, who has experience of setting out and establishing site requirements inline with design specifications, ideally within commercial build environments. Due to the nature of the project, a Basic DBS will be obtained before the start date, and you will need a valid and in date CSCS card.
