Year 4 Teacher for a maternity cover post in Southport

The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join the school on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave from November 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our Year 4 pupils, ensuring that each child makes excellent progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
