Are you an experienced and qualified Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in a student's life? We are currently seeking dedicated SEN TAs to work in both mainstream and special education settings, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) on a day-to-day or long-term basis. Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or physical disabilities
Assist with implementing personalized learning plans (EHCPs) and behavioural management strategies
Support teachers in delivering lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students
Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and report student progress to teachers and SENCO
Support students with personal care, where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect
Assist with any therapy sessions, physical activities, or interventions

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, ideally with SEN specialization
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour management techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Driving License: Preferred, for flexibility in supporting students across multiple locations or transport needs
