Assistant Electrician

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless facility operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of electrical work performed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant electrical qualifications (eg, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within an educational or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
