PE Teacher

Start date: After October Half Term Position: PE Teacher
Location: North Leicestershire

We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to work full-time. You will be teaching PE across KS3 and KS4. ECTs are welcome to apply. This is a long-term position to start in January or sooner.
Job Description:

Delivering engaging and creative PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4

Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that includes a variety of physical activities and dance styles

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply

Bachelor's degree in physical education or a related field

Recent experience teaching PE at secondary school level

The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members

Strong behaviour/classroom management
