Working on behalf of one of the UK's most prestigious colleges, based in Harlow, Essex, UK. Our client is looking for plumbing and heating professionals who are looking to move into teaching. As an educator, you will be teaching a diverse group of learners for 16- 19-year-olds, and you may be asked to Teacher Adults or Apprentices.

What you'll need to succeed
To become a teacher of plumbing and heating, you'll need a combination of technical and teaching skills. Here are some key skills that would be beneficial:
NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating
City and Guilds or equivalent in Electrical installations
5-10 years of plumbing and heating experience
5-10 years electrical installation experience
If you do not hold a level 4 or equivalent teaching qualification, you will have the opportunity to obtain this within 5 years from the appointment date, which will be funded by the college.
