You will enable other services to fully explore their potential through expert guidance, and ongoing support.
Your new role
As part of the Technical Team, you will work to lead the production of information for areas such as capital and housing.
Your responsibilities will include reconciling budgets and actuals, providing data and information to Business Partner teams, and offering training and support within the financial transactions team.
You will also assist with the annual close down and audit of the Council, annual budget, and quarterly monitoring.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be AAT Qualified (Level 4) or equivalent and be able to demonstrate the aforementioned accounting skills. You will have knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as having advanced Excel capabilities.You will be a capable communicator with both finance and non-finance stakeholders who takes a pragmatic approach to controls and procedures.
