Caretaker needed at a day centre in Birmingham Maintaining the security of the building and surrounding areas Carrying out any maintenance and repairs as required Abiding by health and safety regulations Assisting in general cleaning and maintenance Checking fire exits are kept clear and windows and doors are secure when the building is evacuated Loading and transporting service users to and from the day centre Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and safety of vehicles This role is initially until 31st March 2025.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have had previous experience in a similar job role and be able to take care of any tasks required to ensure the maintenance of the service, including carrying out basic repairs, maintenance and safety checks. Within this role, you will need to use your initiative and be able to identify hazards and resolve them.It is essential that you have an enhanced DBS for this role.
