Business Support Assistant - Finance (3-Month Contract)
Hays is working with a local government organisation seeking a Finance Business Support Assistant on a 3-month temporary contract.
The successful candidate will support the finance department with various administrative and financial tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice and credit note entry
- Monitoring email inboxes and dealing with basic queries
- Sending out letters via Docmail
- Producing and amending Excel reports from the Financial System
- Sorting Internal Post and ensuring this reaches the correct department.
- Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
