Smile Education are delighted to be working with a Secondary school in Telford and supporting in them in their search for a new Music Teacher to work on a long term, full time basis .
They have achieved building a fantastic reputation by fostering a nurturing yet disciplined environment where well-being and safety is priority for their students to thrive. This role is available with an immediate start until Christmas, with the potential to be extended until Easter 2025.

Requirements for this role :

• Experience in teaching Music to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• QTS - desirable
• Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver an excellent standard of Music lessons
• Maintain a good learning environment
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Supervise and support the work of teaching assistants and other support staff.
