Your new role
As a Technical Sales Manager will involve generating quotations from costings and liaising closely with customers to meet their specific technical requirements. You will nurture existing customer relationships and expand the customer base through a technical sales approach. Your role will also include contributing to the strategic growth plan of the company, providing input into ongoing operational improvements, and offering training to dealers and the sales network to boost sales. Additionally, you will assist with troubleshooting and fault-finding both in-house and with customers, work closely with the design team to develop bespoke generator systems, and provide market feedback for continual product improvement. You will also be responsible for writing technical documentation and increasing customer awareness of Stage V and T4F loading issues.

What you'll need to succeed
What you'll need to succeed is a degree in technical management, electrical engineering, or project management, along with over five years of experience in the generator or a similar industry. Proven experience in a sales or business development role is essential, as is a clear understanding of diesel generators and site experience with generators or electrical equipment. Competency in IT systems, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also required.

What you'll get in return is a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £60,000, depending on experience, along with a bonus structure.
