Your new role You will have the opportunity to work in a job that is flexible around your needs. Working for Hays Education will enable you to work on a full time or part time basis to suit your commitments. Your role and responsibilities as a cover teacher will also include:

Effectively communicate the work set by the absent teacher to students

Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking set work

Responding to any questions from pupils

Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies which may arise

What you'll need to succeed To be considered for the role of Hays Education it is essential you have:

Hold a teaching qualification.

The ability to manage groups of children and cope with challenging behaviour.

The ability to build good relationships.

Experience of 40+ days in a school we can reference within the past 5 years
