Your new role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join the team on an initial interim basis, initially three months, but likely to extend beyond this point. The primary responsibility of this role is to sign off works undertaken on empty properties, ensuring that these works meet the required standard for lettings. This is a critical role within wider efforts to maximise the usage of the property portfolio. As a Building Surveyor within this role, you will inspect and assess the condition of empty buildings, oversee and sign-off on refurbishment and repair works, ensure works are compliant with relevant regulations and standards, liaise with contractors and other stakeholders, to name a few responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to boast proven experience as a building surveyor, ideally working on the client-side. Strong knowledge of building regulations and standards will be critical to possess in this role, alongside a relevant qualification either within building surveying or a related field.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an initial 3-6 month contract position which is likely to extend beyond this point. You'll receive a competative daily rate of pay, offered on a weekly basis, for the duration of your contract position.
