IT Continuity & Resilience Lead

We are looking for a brilliant IT Continuity & Resilience Lead to join a market leading organisation within the energy sector. With over 85 years of experience behind them, this well-established company owns and manages critical national infrastructure and is engaging in a forward funded futureproofing program with enormous potential for growth.
Within this role, you will be responsible for driving Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management across the entire organisation. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive disaster recovery standards, plans and test schedules. You will be required to engage with third parties, seeking out the right people to create and maintain relationships with, ensuring alignment with company business continuity management plans.
We are looking for an individual that has:
- Experience of driving Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management
- Strong technical background with a good understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and applications
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to co-ordinate BCM or IT continuity testing
- Experience of planning BCM or IT Continuity Tests
- Preferably BCM/CBCP certified/ITIL foundation certificate or higher/Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
