An established and growing organisation in Suffolk, my client is recruiting for the position of Assistant Management Accountant at their site located between Stowmarket and Eye, Suffolk
Your new role
Reporting to and working closely with the Financial Controller you will assist in preparing insightful financials and managing financial controls. Key duties will include supporting with the month-end process including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals and prepayments; stock and costing analysis; budgeting and forecasting; variance analysis; and supporting with transactional and bookkeeping tasks.

What you'll need to succeed
- You will be AAT Qualified and studying for your CIMA/ACCA qualification or have equivalent practical experience.
- Experience of supporting with month-end processes and reporting will be key.
- Strong systems skills will be essential including an intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
- Located in a rural location (15-20 minutes drive from Eye, Stowmarket, Framlingham) own transport required.
