Interim Finance Head (Manufacturing)Location: Newton Abbot, Devon.
Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for manufacturing? We have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Finance Head/Finance Director to join a leading manufacturer near Ashburton. This role offers a blend of technical expertise and practical application.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to drive business growth during an exciting expansion phase.
  • Develop financial strategy and provide sound analysis to support decision-making.
  • Business partner with budget holders, ensuring alignment with Group policy and best practices.
  • Oversee monthly management accounting and value-add business analysis.
  • Manage the relationship with Group auditors.
  • Lead and develop your team.
  • Embrace growth and change in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

    • Requirements:
  • Senior finance experience, preferably in the Manufacturing Sector.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with cost accounting or manufacturing background.
  • Familiarity with contemporary ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience justifying capital investments (Capex, ROI/Payback, Risk).
  • Comfortable with continual change and improvement.

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Up to 12 months (with possibility of permanent appointment)
  • Pay rates: £280 - £330 per day (depending on experience and background)
  • Working Basis: Full-time (hybrid working available)
