Duties and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the ICT Manager, the incumbent will create a multiple choice test suitable for candidates of a mid-level hands on ICT Cloud specialist - infrastructure and configuration role. The test should consist of 50 topics, with 4 options for each answer - a question may have more than 1 correct answer. The submitted test must clearly indicate the correct answers.

Test questions should not be taken from certification or similar exams. The questions should be challenging for a professional with 5+ years working hands-on with cloud configuration. Questions can include real world scenarios.
The technical areas which the profile includes are the following, so can be included as content of the test. The percentage indicates the percentage of the 50 questions which should focus on this area.

• Hands-on experience with managing Cloud and Infrastructure services in hybrid environments, including a data-center perspective and also from the perspective of leading cloud providers, covering install, configure, automate, and monitoring of various Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) (30%)
• Experience of infrastructure and Services solutions, Cloud Development, Cloud integration and APIs; Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering and Cloud Managed Services (30%)
• Oversight on use and development of new technologies and their cloud enablement, including AI and ML (10%)
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/Automation tools and familiarity with large-scale ICT architectures and automated deployment techniques in virtual environments; experience in continuous integration and development tools and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins; JIRA; Nexus; GitHub Actions; Maven; Gradle; Ansible; Terraform; Packer; (20%)
• Exposure to container management/deployment (such as Kubernetes and Docker) in Linux and Windows environment, with experience in latest and emerging technologies and trends (5%)
• Knowledge of networking protocols, networking architectures and security principles, including IP Networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and Firewalling, demonstrated by relevant certifications where applicable. (5%)

Qualification and experience

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline with at least eight years of professional work experience.
• Experience of working on cloud technologies, particularly MS Azure.
• Experience of managing Cloud configuration, including security aspects
• Any experience as work as a technical trainer in Cloud technologies a major advantage.

Contract is for 2 weeks with an extension
