Mechanical Integrity Engineer - Finspång and remote - English speaking

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Mechanical Integrity Engineer.

Role is based in Finspång, some remote work will be allowed.

Description:

As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you will support our development projects by understanding and assessing the lifing behavior of our components. Our team engages in a variety of tasks, including alloy development, material modelling, methodology development, and providing support to workshops, procurement, and service. While your primary base will be in our office in Finspång, you will also have the flexibility to work remotely on occasion.

How You'll make an Impact

Conduct stress and lifing assessments using finite element analysis and other numerical models.

Collaborate within cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and input for accurate assessment and calculations.

Contribute to the development and improvement of lifing methodologies and procedures.

What You Bring

Background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Familiarity with FEM analysis and a strong enthusiasm to understand underlying principles and methodologies Familiarity with software tools such as ABAQUS, HyperWorks and ANSYS Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

A collaborative mindset and a strong desire to learn and adapt.
